HADWIN’S JUDGEMENT
Monday, September 14th, 6:30pm
The Bookshelf Cinema, 41 Quebec St., Guelph
Inspired by John Vaillant’s award-winning book The Golden Spruce, this film interweaves speculation, myth and reality as it chronicles the transformation of Grant Hadwin from logger to environmental terrorist, culminating in an outrageous act of protest – the destruction of a 300 year-old tree held sacred by the indigenous people of Haida Gwaii. A moderated discussion will follow the screening.
The screening is co-resented by Eden Mills Writers’ Festival & Guelph Film Festival
Tickets: $10 (at The Bookshelf only)
